i know there's a lot to come for me but...
hey. at least i've got some creature comforts in the meanwhile.
i'll probably grab some rest while i can and figure the rest out soon.

[Ah. So he does know...that's better than if he didn't, Basil thinks. Even if he knows that Vash must feel as terrible as he did when he first arrived.]

I'm okay. I'm back home now.

[It's weird. Basil had been keeping a nocturnal schedule- and likely still will- but now...he doesn't have to worry about the sun. He can go out in it, and it hasn't fully sunk in yet that he'll be able to yet. Yet, right now? He wants nothing more than to stay at the mansion.]

I'm sure a lot of people have told you about...most of what goes on here, but. If there's anything else you don't know about, I can try to help.

He wishes it were possible to take it easy, here. But it's just not. Especially not for him, not with things as complicated as they are now. But Vash...is still new. He doesn't have to face the horrors, not yet.

He deserves just that little bit of time to prepare.]
